
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Scholarship Fund announced the recipients of its Class of 2026 scholarship awards, which includes Samantha Staublein.
Samantha is the daughter of Michael Staublein, a member of Teamsters Local 500 employed by Xfinity Mobile Arena. Samantha is a recent graduate of St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls and will attend Widener University in the fall. Teamsters Local 500 represents 1,022 members locally in a variety of industries.
The Teamsters Scholarship Fund awards 600 $2,000 scholarships each year, and in three years, more than 1,600 scholarships have been awarded. The money raised for the Teamsters Scholarship Fund comes from the generosity of Teamsters local unions, Joint Councils and member service providers. The Teamsters do not allow any employers to donate to the Scholarship Fund.
Teamsters scholarships are awarded to high school seniors planning to enroll in four-year college after graduation, community college transfer students and students who plan to attend trade or vocational schools. Applicants must be the daughter, son or financial dependent of a Teamster.
