South Philly rock ’n’ roll artist Adam Weiner and his band Low Cut Connie have some new tunes available and a new tour to attend.
The band released its eighth studio album on July 3 called “Livin in the USA” via Contender Records.
Low Cut Connie celebrated the album’s new release with a pop-up show at The Vogel in Red Bank, New Jersey before heading to the west coast to begin a new tour. The tour begins in Seattle and culminates at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on Nov. 20.
Leading up to the album’s release, Low Cut Connie released official videos for singles “Little Freakers” and “Can’t Be Wrong,” which is in the Top 30 on the Americana Radio Chart and Top 40 on the AAA Chart.
The album has received praise from Rolling Stone magazine for its message, stating “Livin in the USA is as much about partying as it is about protesting injustice.”
Weiner shared his passion on writing “Can’t Be Wrong”.
“The world is on fire, so let’s get wild,” he said. “Part of making this protest album was trying to answer the question of how do we activate when things are going so so wrong in America and around the world. For me, the answer is to protest during the day, and party at night. We can do both things. So as (messed) up as 2026 is, here is my offering for 2026 Song of the Summer.”
