Swenson chess earns 6 trophies at state championships

The Swenson Dark Knights won six trophies during the recent Pennsylvania State Scholastic Chess Championships at the Red Lion Hotel in Harrisburg.

Team members included Chris Nicas, Sam Jiang, Giovanni Rinehart, Brett Schubert, Dominic Martinez, Javen Vigo and Antonio Dubisette.

The team is coached by Douglas Cox.

The Swenson Dark Knights will compete in the national championships in May in Florida. ••
