Chase is a sweet, handsome 2-year-old black Lab mix who was rescued from a Philly shelter just in time. This playful pup is all about fun — his favorite pastimes include chasing balls, carrying sticks and winning at tug-of-war. He would do best with a work-from-home adopter or an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm. If left without enough activity, he can get a little bored, but a good game of fetch or a long walk will do the trick.
He’s great with other dogs. Because he’s still learning his size and strength, there should be supervision for kids under 13 when he’s playing.
He is crate trained. So far, he’s not a barker but will call for your attention with a little whine. He’s 100% potty trained, never had any accidents and is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.
Smart and eager to please, Chase already knows sit, paw, down and high five. After playtime, he makes a great nap buddy and loves curling up by your bed.
