Duty first, Honor always, Self last

I do hope this is my last commentary concerning the crisis that is evolving in our country. I also feel compelled to respond to Mr. McCaffrey’s letter on April 2.

I am actually starting to lose sleep in witnessing what our democratic republic is going through.

Very soon, on purpose, he is going to make such an egregious ruling through his executive orders that will ensure a constitutional crisis. There will be an immediate reaction of unrest throughout the country. This will give him carte blanche reasoning to declare martial law and the opportunity to do anything he wants. Hence, King Donald.

Trump’s goal is a step-by-step ruling toward his authoritarian ambitions. Too many are turning a “blind eye” to his executive declarations to gain unprecedented power and only what is best for him and to hell with all others. From a charismatic speaker we are told so many lies, at the top of his voice, that many think this must be the truth.

His wishes have already being initiated with him politicizing many government departments. If anyone has the audacity to oppose or criticize him, his instilled leaders will punish them to all they can get away with.  Our country is evolving into jungle law; survival of the fittest. All too soon no one will criticize his agenda. I personally believe we have an obligation to support equality for all, which includes minority groups. I try to uphold the words I attribute to Barbara Henry. “Duty first, Honor always, Self last.” He and his bullies care only for themselves. If we don’t stand up to his bullies he has put into power then we deserve what we get.

Look out for American workers

Thanks to everyone looking out for our fellow Americans. As a result of our expanded unity, we continue to see positive changes happening in America’s economy. With our focus on American workers and the private sector business employing them, there has been a major increase in jobs and job skills for working-aged and able-bodied Americans.

America’s consumers are doing their part and it’s important that government officials also look to purchase even more American-made supplies for America’s public schools, hospitals, military, police, roads, bridges, security and many other projects supported by our tax dollars. This is an opportunity for United States government leaders and state-level leaders to help create a demand for products made and assembled in the United States of America.

Therefore, we are requesting that you contact your federal, state and local elected leaders, school boards and all who govern distribution of our tax dollars so they hear firsthand your support for American workers, America’s economy and our nation’s future.

The American people, as well as government officials and institutional administrators, have endless opportunities to create a demand for products made in America, simply by purchasing more American-made everything.

Creating a demand for American made is in and of itself the most important way to expand America’s economy and create more job opportunities.

Spread the word to everyone you know because we have to look out for American workers first. I appreciate hearing from you and I welcome your comments and suggestions. Email them to Michael@AmericanWorkersRadio.com.
