Libby Spencer Dancers hold spring fling reunion

The Libby Spencer Dancers is a group of female tap dancers and seniors who have performed their Rhythms of Joy presentation to senior and retirement centers, churches, private venues and schools since 2012.

The dancers held a spring fling reunion on Saturday, April 26, at 3 p.m. at Smith Recreation Center, at 2100 S. 24th St. (near 25th Street and Snyder Avenue).

The reunion featured the Libby Spencer Dancers and some women who learned dance during the late 1960s under the late Libby Spencer, a show business veteran.

The women reflected on their tap dance experience more than 50 years ago. ••
