KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave., held a Purim celebration with a lunch with hamantaschen, a tri-corned fruit-filled pastry symbolic of the holiday, festive ethnic music and vocals by Ken Ulansey and Phyllis Chapell, costumes, beads and gragger giveaways.

Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates saving the Jewish people from Haman, a Persian empire official who was planning to kill all the Jews as recounted in the biblical Book of Esther. ••
