“Holiday Designs for the Home” is the Trevose Horticultural Society’s featured program on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road, Bensalem.

Guest designer Jimmy Gilpatrick, owner and head designer of Bird of Paradise Flowers in Bristol, will demonstrate simplistic holiday designs with flair for the home. Gilpatrick will explain both the basic and professional approaches to creating your own beautiful floral arrangements. Completed designs will be raffled.

Gilpatrick earned his bachelor of science degree in ornamental horticulture from DelVal University. Prior to opening his own studio in Bristol, he honed his skills as head designer and manager of area floral shops.
