Steven Singer, founder of Steven Singer Jewelers, and his beloved dog Buddy — adopted from Women’s Animal Center — presented a $20,000 contribution to America’s First Animal Shelter on Oct. 29.
Over the years, Steven Singer Jewelers has given back to Greater Philadelphia area nonprofit organizations through over $1 million in direct donations to help everything from healthcare causes to animal welfare causes and children’s charities. The first-generation jeweler and small business owner opened his heart and home, and adopted Buddy from the Bensalem-based animal shelter, and wanted to give back to the facility that brought them together.
“The most hated man in America loves to see shelter pets adopted into loving forever homes, and I have one, too, that means everything to me,” said Singer.
Steven Singer Jewelers is donating a portion of profits to Women’s Animal Center with every purchase of its “Helping Paw” necklace. The exclusive sterling silver and diamond necklace features a paw and heart, and is specially designed to remind animal lovers and pet owners of the incredible bonds people create with animals by letting them into their hearts.
The $20,000 contribution will support Women’s Animal Center as it provides safe shelter, nutritious meals, enrichment and medical care for the shelter pets waiting for their forever homes, and the organization’s continued mission to help pets and the people who love them.
