Despite a three-hour delay to the start time due to heavy rain, the Saints seamlessly adapted as senior Jayce Park threw five innings of one-hit ball.

Senior Andrew Dankanich sealed the game with a walk off grand slam off the left field foul pole in the fifth inning. incredibly, Dankanich also ended the Saints’ state semifinal victory with an inside the park walk-off grand slam.

Neumann-Goretti captured its first state title since 2017, which was the second of back-to-back championships.
