Bridge to a century: Tacony-Palmyra prepares for 100th anniversary

On a beautiful day along the Delaware River July 29, a tugboat pushed a barge under the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, which was closed to traffic for essential maintenance overnight on July 27 and Aug. 3. The historic draw bridge will celebrate its 100th birthday on Aug. 14, 2029.
