Family Field Day at FDR Park – From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at FDR Park, join Fairmount Park Conservancy for a free Family Field Day featuring youth sports activities for all ages, giveaways, food trucks, DJ, face painting, balloon artist, free ice cream and more. Pressed Flower Workshop – From 6-7:30 p.m. at the Pop Up Garden, 1438 South St. In this workshop, you will learn all about the age-old art of pressing and preserving flowers. Foliage selection, pressing techniques and how to arrange and design your own work bundled with composition and style. All supplies needed are included in the $30 ticket price. This garden serves alcohol so a valid, physical state-issued ID is required to enter. Anyone under 21 is welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Turkey Day Tailgate – From 8 a.m. to noon at Lincoln Financial Field, Philly PR Girl is hosting the ninth annual Turkey Day Tailgate benefiting North Light Community Center before the Eagles take on the Cleveland Browns. Ticket-holders will gather at a designated spot in the Lincoln Financial Field parking lots (exact location to be announced closer to the event date) to enjoy a Thanksgiving-themed menu, crafted seasonal cocktails, tailgating games, face painting, raffle prizes and signed memorabilia, a photo booth and more.
