On Sept. 1, Universal Creighton Charter School students were greeted with applause by City Councilman Anthony Phillips, Principal Wendy Baldwin, teachers, staff, parents and surrounding community leaders to ring in the school year.

State Sen. Sharif Street attended, toured the school with Baldwin and greeted students in classrooms.
Creighton is at 5401 Tabor Road and educates children in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school has been under Universal’s tutelage since 2012.
