Tonka, a 20-week-old terrier mix, has a heart full of love and a spirit that shines despite his rough start. Tonka was rescued from a tough situation in West Philly, where he endured being left in a closet for several days. Thanks to Bubba’s Station Rescue, he now has a second chance at a happy life.

Tonka is the friendliest, happiest puppy you’ll ever meet. He seems to instantly love every person he meets. He will shower you with the sweetest puppy love.

He is a playful, outgoing puppy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats and even chickens.

He’s curious, affectionate and always eager to make new friends.

He is super smart, having already mastered basic commands. He even knows how to whisper when asked to do so.

This little guy is ready to leave his past behind and become a cherished part of a loving family. Tonka is looking for a home where he can continue to grow, thrive and be the fun-loving companion he was born to be. His new home will need to have a playful dog sibling and a fenced yard. Since he is still quite young, he will need a place where he is crated no more than two to three hours at a time. He is currently used to and happily comfortable in a home where someone is home during the day.

Tonka is fully vetted and neutered.
