State Sen. Joe Picozzi will hold the first Tacony Community Arts Day on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 6900 block of Torresdale Ave.

The event will be in partnership with City Councilman Mike Driscoll, Mural Arts Philadelphia, Tacony Community Development Corporation and Tacony LAB Community Art Center.
There will be live artists and performances, demonstrations, face painting, family services and local artisan vendors. ••
