Some 21 seniors from KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave., recently visited the Vetri Community Partnership in the city and prepared, cooked and ate a meal together.

Seniors from both Russian- and English-speaking programs bonded over preparing recipes provided by Vetri with assistance from local chefs prior to eating together around a community table.

Vetri is the restaurant whose owners are associated with both.

The program was made possible by a grant from the Jewish Federation of North America Center on Holocaust Survivor Care and the Institute on Aging Trauma.

Among those on hand were Jen Holman, Eat360 educator; Inna Gulko, KleinLife director of support services; and Julia Karabova, KleinLife transportation coordinator. ••
