Fishburn previously worked in police radio and in the busy 12th Police District in Southwest Philadelphia.

Complaints from the crowd included slow 911 call center answering times, loud music from a house on Hartel Avenue, loud noise from patrons of a Princeton Avenue bar, a long-abandoned car on Vandike Street, squatters on Tulip Street, illegal dumping on the 2800 block of Sandyford Ave. and violent crime near the intersection of Penn and Pratt streets.

State Rep. Joe Hohenstein attended the meeting.

Others in attendance included the following aides to elected officials: Elijah Wilson (Sen. Joe Picozzi), Stan Cywinski (Councilman Mike Driscoll), Mary Dougherty (Rep. Jared Solomon), Jill Henon (Controller Christy Brady) and Abby Laureano (Sen. Tina Tartaglione).

Henon encouraged people to visit controller.phila.gov to sign up for Brady’s monthly newsletter.
