Kisha needs an adult-only home. She is a 7-year-old, 3-pound Yorkie who arrived at the shelter in May with severe medical issues, including a large infected uterine mass that required emergency surgery. She was painfully matted and clearly suffering, but once she was shaved and treated, her sweet little face — and huge personality — finally emerged.
Today, she’s thriving in foster care and loving life.
She is playful, happy and full of life. She loves her people, especially her foster dad. She does an adorable excited dance and enjoys sunbathing in the grass. She can live with a tolerant dog but won’t share food or laps. She is funny, quirky and full of tiny-dog attitude — she will absolutely crack her new family up with her silly expressions and dramatic routines. She has a hilarious “queen of the house” strut.
She needs an escape-proof yard or must be leashed outdoors, as she’s a clever little explorer.
Kisha is healthy, spayed, microchipped, recently had bad teeth removed and is up to date on vaccines.
