Dillon presents state grant to Somerton Youth

Sen. Jimmy Dillon and Sparty

State Sen. Jimmy Dillon presented a $56,000 grant to Somerton Youth Organization during the group’s Oct. 12 Homecoming.

Dillon presented the check during halftime of the 8-year-old football game between the Somerton Spartans and Liberty Bell. Somerton led 12-0 at halftime and went on to a 32-7 victory.

Homecoming also featured inflatables, face painting, a DJ and basket raffles. ••
