The grand opening for the Block Academy preschool and kindergarten will be on Monday, Feb. 3, at 9:30 a.m.

All events are open to the public.

“We are so excited to welcome people across all areas of Northeast Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs to our newest and largest location,” said Joey Furjanic, founding and lead pastor of the Block Church. “Our church’s mission is to Revive Every Block, and one of the ways we do that is by reaching out to our local communities so they can experience the love of Jesus through the local church. During our grand opening weekend, we’re hoping to welcome many new faces to experience the vibrant, authentic community that is the Block Church.”

Sunday services are also held at 7372 Henry Ave., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.; 2537 E. Monmouth St., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (Spanish); 1336 Spring Garden St., 5 p.m.; and YouTube at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., then on demand.
