Upcoming senior fair, shredding

The Holme Circle Civic Association met last week, welcoming representatives from the offices of state Rep. Ed Neilson and state Sen. Joe Picozzi.

Neilson will team with Rep. Pat Gallagher and City Councilman Mike Driscoll for a senior resource fair on April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Cannstatter’s, 9130 Academy Road. There will be more than 40 vendors, including SEPTA, which can provide free Senior Key Cards. Prescription drugs can be returned. There will be light refreshments, giveaways and Zumba. Neilson will sponsor a shred and e-cycling event on Saturday, May 3, from 9-11 a.m. in the parking lot of Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road. Call 215-330-3714.
