Settlement Music School Kardon-Northeast Branch, 3745 Clarendon Ave., on Dec. 7 presented Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker.

Led by new ballet instructor and choreographer Sarah Warren, the girls entertained with 13 acts of dancing.

Before The Nutcracker, Kardon-Northeast’s eight-person string ensemble performed holiday favorites Silent Night, The Christmas Song, O Holy Night, White Christmas, Let It Snow and O Come, All Ye Faithful. The strong ensemble also mixed in the Beatles’ Yesterday. ••
