

The city Department of Parks and Recreation and volunteers teamed on Sept. 25 to clean up Pennypack Park, near Frankford and Solly avenues.
The crew spent two hours removing trash and debris, much of it under invasive vegetation.

The trash was bagged and thrown into a sanitation truck.
State Rep. Pat Gallagher rewarded the staff and volunteers with pizza. ••
