A grand opening party took place at Jack Costello Boxing Club to celebrate Storydale Avenue, a series of murals on and inside businesses on Torresdale Avenue in Tacony.
The Tacony Community Development Corporation sponsored the project, which was a collaboration between neighborhood residents and artist Mat Tomezsko.

The Oct. 11 grand opening featured live music, a food truck and a children’s cookie painting activity.
Among those on hand were state Rep. Pat Gallagher, City Councilman Mike Driscoll and state Sen. Jimmy Dillon.
