Wall Ball — At 8:30 p.m., Mural Arts Philadelphia’s annual fundraiser at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. Minecraft at Penn Museum – the museum is offering a kid-friendly guided tour that explains the real-life artifacts and cultures behind Minecraft’s most iconic elements. Participants ages 6-12 discover the real-world roots of their favorite game in this hands-on adventure that explores the vibrant cities of Mesoamerica, ancient tools from Africa and battle-ready armor worn by Greek warriors — all through the lens of Minecraft. At the end of the tour, kids get creative using the original “pixel art” that goes back thousands of years — a mosaic with colorful paper “tiles.” Space is limited and advance registration is required.
