Adopt sweet Alma

Alma, about 6 years old, is a throwaway mama who is a 60-pound, healthy, smart, loving girl. She is a low-energy queen who would love to hang out with her humans all day. She loves naps, snacks, walks, cuddles, sitting in the sun, her pajamas and peanut butter. While she can be motivated by food, she is also motivated by hugs and positive reinforcement.

Alma has never met a human she doesn’t love, including children, and can live with other dogs with a very slow intro, but would happily be an only dog. Alma is crate trained (up to 8 hours), walks well on a leash but can be very reactive to other animals. She would definitely enjoy a home with a yard.

Whoever adopts Alma would need to maintain some of her skincare routine (regular cleaning of her paws, back and ears), may need to continue some small physical therapy exercises and give her a daily allergy pill. Alma is truly a sweet, earnest, girl. Want to know more? Email reva@phillybullyteam.org. ••
