State Sen. Jimmy Dillon presented a $75,000 Department of Community and Economic Development check to Calvary Athletic Association, 4330 Deerpath Lane.

Dillon presented the check on Homecoming at halftime of the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade CYO football game between Calvary A.A. and St. Genevieve. The lawmaker told the crowd he’s an Our Lady of Calvary graduate who played on the Calvary A.A. fields and playground.
