St. Dom’s lights Christmas tree

St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave., held a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony after Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. Mass.

The Rev. Brian Connolly, the parochial administrator, blessed the tree, decorated with parishioners’ ornaments.

Also on hand were Santa and Mrs. Claus, seen recently at the Mayfair-Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade and the Mayfair Business Improvement District tree lighting.

The parish served hot drinks and sweets. ••
