

The Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce held a breakfast networking event at the Northeast Family YMCA, 11088 Knights Road.
Guests heard from the Y’s new director, Nicole Flynn, on the job for a month, and its senior director, Brian Rhodes, on staff for 13 years. The Y has almost 14,000 members and features a gym, fitness center, indoor pool and swim lessons, child care, a summer camp, in-school programs and more.
The Y will hold a coat drive on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. On Oct. 25, beginning at 6:30 p.m., there will be a Halloween event that will include activities, candy and a movie.
State Rep. Martina White was in attendance and suggested the Chamber partner with the PA Chamber of Business and Industry. ••
