Ng outlined Green City, Clean Waters projects. She was joined by construction outreach specialist Amy Hopf.

Philadelphians pay a stormwater charge on their water bills to manage rain runoff.

Projects to capture stormwater include tree trenches, corner and mid-block bump outs and subsurface trenches.

Ongoing projects are on Rowland Avenue; Leon Street; Erdrick Street; Walker Street; Ditman Street; McMenamy Street; Torresdale Avenue; and the intersection of Craig and Decatur streets.

Contractors and inspectors are on site for questions.

If any of the trenches or bump outs are filled with trash, email Jackie.Ng@phila.gov.

Custodio also said anyone who receives a ballot in the mail with a sealed envelope inside can request another envelope at the Frankford Avenue office.

Custodio also mentioned Deeley’s “What’s on the Ballot” initiative, encouraging voters to pick candidates in all races on the ballot.
