Tuesday’s election ballot

The general election ballot has been finalized.

Locally, there are only a few contested races.

U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-2nd dist.) is being challenged by Republican Aaron Bashir.

State Sen. Jimmy Dillon (D-5th dist.) is being challenged by Republican Joe Picozzi.

In the 172nd Legislative District, the candidates are Democrat Sean Dougherty and Republican Aizaz Gill.

Pennsylvania voters will have a choice of four presidential/vice presidential tickets: Democrats Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, Republicans Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, Libertarians Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat and the Green Party’s Jill Stein and Rudolph Ware.

There are five candidates for U.S. Senate: Democratic Sen. Bob Casey Jr., Republican Dave McCormick, Libertarian John Thomas, the Green Party’s Leila Hazou and the Constitution Party’s Marty Selker.

For attorney general, the candidates are Democrat Eugene DePasquale, Republican Dave Sunday, Libertarian Robert Cowburn, the Green Party’s Richard Weiss, the Constitution Party’s Justin Magill and the Forward Party’s Eric Settle.

In the auditor general race, Republican incumbent Tim DeFoor is being challenged by Democrat Malcolm Kenyatta, Libertarian Reece Smith, the American Solidarity Party’s Eric Anton and the Constitution Party’s Bob Goodrich.

In the state treasurer race, Republican incumbent Stacy Garrity is being challenged by Democrat Erin McClelland, Libertarian Nickolas Ciesielski, the Constitution Party’s Troy Bowman and the Forward Party’s Chris Foster. ••
