Celebrating Veterans Day at AdvanSix

AdvanSix, a chemical company at 2501 Margaret St., held a Veterans Day flag-raising ceremony on Nov. 11.

Plant Manager Bill Rodebaugh led the service with Tom O’Brien, commander of Bridesburg American Legion Post 821, to raise a new American flag over the plant’s Bridge Street gate.

The event included remarks from City Councilman Mike Driscoll and state Reps. Joe Hohenstein and Jared Solomon, chairman of the House Committee for Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness.

Following the service, AdvanSix treated all guests and employees to coffee and treats from I Knead Coffee. ••
