Big turnout at Keystone Academy Back to School Night

Keystone Academy Charter School, 4521 Longshore Ave. in Tacony, held its annual Back to School Night, with entry lines wrapped around the block.

Parents visited their children’s classrooms to meet their teachers before moving on to the gymnasium, where special area and Title I teachers hosted tables featuring art, music, physical education, reading, technology resources and the school’s maker space known as “The Idea Box.”

Other tables included information about resources for English as a Second Language (ESL), as Keystone is recognized by Niche.com as one of America’s most diverse public schools.  

Also, Food Services specialists presented samples, menus and nutrition resources.

There were also Make and Take stations with literacy and math activities. ••
