The dinner is the culmination of the annual food and clothing drive in memory of Cullen, a 57-year-old Mayfair resident, Father Judge graduate and St. Bernard parishioner who was beaten to death in November 2017 on the 4200 block of Loring St.

Three Abraham Lincoln High School students were arrested for the crime, which started as a robbery, though Cullen had nothing on him.

Pete Smith organizes the annual drive in Cullen’s memory, and this year invites families dealing with issues such as addiction, homelessness and domestic abuse to the dinner, which will also include information about city and state resources.

To attend the dinner, RSVP to Smith at 267-312-2045 or PeterCSmith66@gmail.com

Smith is partnering with local lawmakers and Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 17 to collect socks, hats, coats and gloves for Socks for the Streets.

Nonperishable food, gift cards, food, clothing, cash or checks can be donated at the following locations:

• Office of Councilman Mike Driscoll, 7552 Frankford Ave.

• Office of Rep. Pat Gallagher, 8760 Frankford Ave.
