Roxanna has a new leash on life

Roxanna is a 4-year-old, 80-pound pit bull mix with a heart as big as her goofy personality. Rescued just in time from being euthanized at a shelter, this peach-fuzzed beauty is ready to find her forever home. She is making great strides with house training, leash manners and even crate time (up to three hours like a champ). She has happily played with both male and female dog foster siblings. With a little patience and another dog to show her the ropes, she’ll thrive in her social skills. She needs a family with kids 15-plus who can guide her puppy-like tendencies (she’s still learning not to get mouthy during play). She also needs a cat-free home and a secure car harness because this silly girl gets so excited she might try to hop out the window.
