Angels of Christmas recently held its annual holiday party at St. Dominic’s Marian Hall.

In all, 100 families were invited, most of whom were referred by schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Some 500 people attended.

The two-day party included a buffet lunch, music, a magic show by Ed Schmitt, face painting, a photo booth and crafts. Santa Claus posed for photos and handed each child a gift. Children were welcome to take stuffed animals and books, and families received additional wrapped gifts.

St. Leo Knights of Columbus Council 1294 was a key partner, providing all 100 families with a turkey and other food items and drinks.

Angels of Christmas, founded in 1995, also volunteers for Caring for Friends. The nonprofit, which raises money through bingo and a comedy night, will be changing its name to Gift of Giving next year. Donations are accepted on Venmo @AngelsofChristmas and on PayPal at https://www.paypal.com/fundraiser/charity/2170209 ••
