Key members from Bensalem’s Presto Tape, including Anne Eichner, chaplain, and Rich Speeney, president, recently presented Sunshine Foundation president Kate Sample with a pledge of $6,600 to help answer the dreams of three children, including Talitha, 6, with Tetra-amelia syndrome, an extremely rare congenital disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs.

Her dream is to have a special adaptive chair. Talitha’s mom said. “I want to show her how worthy and special she is. I want her to be seen and loved.”

“Sunshine Foundation is so grateful to Presto Tape for helping us to make Tali’s dream come true of a special adaptable chair. Tali was born with no limbs, so this chair will give her the mobility she needs and continue that beautiful smile,” said Sample.

Sunshine Foundation, founded in Philadelphia and headquartered in Southampton, answers dreams to children with lifelong, severe chronic illnesses and conditions, such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness and trauma from abuse.

To make these dreams a reality for children who may be turned away from other wish-granting organizations that require a life-threatening or critical diagnosis, Sunshine Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, family foundations, organizations and corporations.
