Lower Bucks Chamber keynote program

The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its next keynote program/networking and breakfast meeting on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Sheraton Bucks County Hotel, 400 Oxford Valley Road, Langhorne. Networking is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the program is from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Keynote speaker Mark Luschini, chief investment strategist, president and chief investment officer, Janney Capital Management, will present “Wrapping up 2024 with a Look Ahead to 2025,” providing a recap of 2024 markets and a look ahead for the next year.

Luschini is responsible for setting Janney Capital Management’s view on the global macroeconomic framework, as well as providing commentary and outlook for the equity and fixed income markets, interest rates and the Federal Reserve’s monetary policies. 

He joined Janney as part of the Parker/Hunter merger in 2005, and has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He draws on that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and the financial markets. He is frequently quoted in publications ranging from The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to The New York Times and USA Today. In addition, Luschini regularly appears in various media outlets, including CNBC, Fox Business News and Bloomberg Television and Radio.

He has an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MBA in finance from Gannon University, and holds the Chartered Market Technician designation from the CMT Association, certifying his competency in the principles of technical analysis.
