Quinn came to Mama’s-Gona Rescue from a hoarding situation in 2024. Multiple large dogs were living in the woods with a makeshift shed for shelter. Most of his past will always be unknown.
When Quinn ended up in a kennel environment, he completely shut down. He was terrified and ultimately landed on the euthanasia list.
But when rescue founder Amanda spent time with him, she saw fear.
Quinn didn’t need someone to give up on him. He needed someone willing to give him time, structure, patience and love.
Now, this once-terrified boy gives hugs, loves his walks, enjoys lounging outside and has learned what it feels like to trust people. He keeps a clean pen, so it appears he is housetrained.
Quinn would prefer a home without small children and can be picky about his dog friends — which is why a meet and greet is required. He also needs a family who understands decompression and will give him time to feel safe.
