Meet Enzo and Everest, two precious 9-year-old best friends who have spent their entire lives together and are now searching for a loving home where they can stay side by side.
Enzo is a 9-pound Maltese, and Everest is a 7½-pound Toy Poodle. Their elderly owner made the difficult but loving decision to surrender them when she realized she might not always be able to care for them. Her greatest wish was to ensure her beloved boys would always be safe and loved.
Sadly, Enzo and Everest spent their lives living outdoors and had never known the comfort of living inside a home. Now that they’ve discovered cozy beds, warm blankets and the joy of indoor living, they can’t get enough of it.
These sweet little gentlemen are friendly, affectionate and have done well with other dogs. Everest does have a previously healed jaw fracture caused by dental disease, so he’ll need to stay on a soft-food diet for the rest of his life. Thankfully, it doesn’t slow him down one bit.
They deserve a family who will cherish them, spoil them with all the comfort they’ve missed out on, and make their golden years the happiest years yet.
