Other BLOCStoberfest events will take place across the state.

In the most recent fiscal year, which ended on June 30, BLOCS – Pennsylvania’s leading scholarship organization dedicated to the state Educational Improvement Tax Credit and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit and the sole administrator of the Economically Disadvantaged Schools program – raised more than $246 million for need-based scholarships, according to Delany.

BLOCS, founded in 1980, is providing scholarships to more than 43,000 students statewide in Pre-K through 12th grade this school year.

BLOCS, Delany said, has partnerships with private schools in 65 of the state’s 67 counties.

Future events include Breakfast with BLOCS in Harrisburg, with elected officials invited, and a Toast to Tax Credits cocktail reception, featuring donors and lawmakers.
