Proceeds from food and drink sales went to the 8th Police District Advisory Council.

The day also included cornhole and music by DJ Rockstar, who before the games played a version of the Star-Spangled Banner by Dolly Parton.

Capt. Nicholas DeBlasis, commander of the 8th district, thanked all participants, community relations officer Chris Hanejko and other officers in the 8th, along with state Rep. Ed Neilson, state Sen. Joe Picozzi and City Councilman Brian O’Neill for their donations.

Team Griff won the double-elimination tournament, beating the previously unbeaten ‘24 Champs twice in the final. Members of the championship team were Frank Grabon, Max Grabon, Luke Mazzoni and Jack Welsh.
