Reduce the national debt
The media are now on the new anti-Trump hysteria — the national debt problem, which just hit $40 trillion.
How silent they were under Joe Biden. And so little said about the 9 trillion spent by Bush and Obama in Iraq and Afghanistan.
We have not balanced the federal budget since 2001.
The debt is a big problem. Like a massive credit card, the yearly interest payments of over $1 trillion drains our economy.
It is one reason why your dollar doesn’t go very far and houses cost a fortune.
Trump tried to reduce the deficit with tariffs, only to meet great hostility. He also tried, like Reagan, to line-item out spending with “recission packages” but Congress would not approve.
In fact, anytime anyone wants to cut a program we have near-hysteria. Medicaid has become a monster. Federal pension benefits are just too generous. Waste and fraud are epidemic.
Congress will not tax extreme wealth because that’s where their campaign money comes from.
Let’s face it, the only way we will resolve the debt and deficit problem is if both Democrats and Republicans agree not to use budget reforms, cuts and targeted taxes against each other in the election process.
And the media stop taking the side of Democrats in all such debate.
Only then will we make headway in reducing the debt. Compromise not likely given the rise of Democrat socialists.

An inferior product
It’s amazing every time the results for the standardized tests for the school district are revealed, there is a sense of disappointment or disgust. Only 34% score at grade level in English and 23% in math. It should make your jaw drop considering how much money that has been invested in the system. And how much more they are asking for. If the district was a private entity it would be bankrupt. The district is the perfect advertisement for school choice. Maybe if they reported the statistics the other way, with 66% up to grade in English and 77% in math, people would jump up and down and ask what’s wrong with the systems. These are your children they are foisting this inferior product upon. Until the taxpayers of Philadelphia start asking questions and putting pressure on the district this inferior product will be the status quo.

Buy domestic school supplies
As America’s students return to school, none of us would object if there was an equal balance between domestic and imported school supplies. That would allow America’s consumers to have a choice in what they want to purchase and who they chose to support.
Presently there are large numbers of formerly American-made products on sale in America with mainly foreign-made labels. This is unfortunate and represents the failure of leadership at many levels to keep industries and jobs in America for the well-being of American workers and America’s future. With all the inflation we experienced in recent years, getting businesses to relocate back to the United States now requires business leaders, elected officials and the American people to speak up with one voice.
America’s consumers need to demand action from America’s elected officials to reduce taxes and get rid of the unnecessary regulations that forced American businesses to locate their production facilities outside of America. High taxes and unnecessary regulations made businesses move out of the United States. It is time for national legislation to reduce taxes and unnecessary regulations so businesses can return to the United States and manufacture and sell their products where their customers live and need jobs.
We can’t continue to be the retail outlet for foreign-made products. It is very important that we work together to reverse the outsourcing trend and help more working-age and able-bodied fellow Americans get back to work supplying America with American-made products.
Change does not happen overnight, but it is happening. Let’s keep moving forward by spending more of our dollars wisely by looking for, asking for and purchasing American made first.

To bigotry give no sanctions, persecutions give no assistance (George Washington)
This is the prevalent problem in today’s many countries’ state of affairs when combining church & state. Both religion and politics are important but when combined in all aspects of society their leaders evolve into so-called demi-gods as they cater to their most fervent and fanatical followers.
A few weeks ago, at a religious service I read the following 5,000-year-old text: “These are the rules that you must carefully observe in the land that the lord God is giving you to possess as long as you live on earth. You must destroy all the sites at which the nations that you shall possess worshipped their gods. Tear down their altars, smash their pillars, put their sacred posts to the fire and cut down the images of their gods, obliterating their name from that site.”
99% of the general public understand that was the way it was done “back then.” Only 1% of the population will take it verbatim. That 1 percent includes many country leaders who simply interpret it as “Jungle Law” (kill or be killed). They incite their followers by claiming you are superior. Might makes right and you have the right to take and destroy all perceived enemies. Just here in America we have many willing followers who will adhere to this philosophy with many news broadcasters spewing their propaganda to perceived leaders and their so eager followers. This caters to their masses based on mob mentality, whose only want is power coupled with greed.
We must have countries operate by established laws rather than declaration or persuasion. Too many will blindly follow any dictate that a charismatic speaker proclaims. America needs leaders who will actually lead and not create a divisiveness that only leads to extreme hatred for all who think differently. A perfect example for all countries; you can’t fight a war when your own country is so divided that they are fighting with each other.
