‘From pharm to table’ with Dominique Damerjian

It all started with a Philadelphia classic: the cheesesteak. In October 2025, Moorestown, New Jersey native Dominique Damerjian visited Backyard Cravings in South Philly, and in a twist of fate, Dine with Dom was born. Less than a year later, the 27-year-old has created 160+ videos and gained almost 40,000 followers on Instagram, 23,000 followers on TikTok and 20,000 followers on Facebook.

Damerjian may be known for her signature “Alright, guys” that starts each of her videos. She may be known for an energetic personality that weaves itself into each product she puts out there. At the end of the day, though, what stands out about Dom is the authenticity behind her platform. While some people say she consistently provides a positive view, at her core, she wants to share great food with the community.

As someone of Armenian and Italian descent, food has always been a staple in her life. “Our fun thing for me and my family was going out to eat,” she shared. From lists of restaurants to try together developed her love of trying new places. As a foodie, she believes you can appreciate the greasiest burger from a chain restaurant or a Michelin-starred restaurant. When it comes to what’s on the plate, there’s not much that scares her away.

Then, came the popular, underground cheesesteak operation run out of a row home backyard. “I had wanted it for months. I videoed myself for, like, 10 minutes eating in my car.” The video review was posted to her personal Instagram account, which led her cousin to message her and encourage Dom to make an account for her food videos.

While the suggestion may have felt out of her wheelhouse in the moment, it also felt a bit like destiny. Damerjian graduated with a pharmacy degree from St. Joseph’s University and had worked as a pharmacist for 5½ years prior to quitting her job earlier in 2025. After applying to over 250 jobs, the option offered a glimpse into a future doing something completely different, so she launched @dinewithdom_.

While there is no official view count to determine when a video has “gone viral”, the general consensus is that it’s relative; however, Dom knows the exact moment when her platform took off. Only a month into her content creation, she shared a video about the hummus from Ammon’s Mediterranean Market in Cherry Hill, and viewership exploded. However, she’s stayed humble: “I don’t ever want to be the kind of person [where it’s] oh I want more views, I want more followers. It’s easy to get like that, but I want to be grateful for what I have still and what I continue […] with whatever growth in whatever lifetime it happens.”

From New York City to Wildwood to Warrington, Dom explores restaurants that she wants to visit or those that reach out to her. If a restaurant reaches out, she partners with them if they have a 4.0 on Yelp or a 4.2 on Google, as it guarantees consistency. Once she commits to visiting a restaurant, she always tries to sample an item that she has never seen anywhere else.

When it comes to the angle, it’s important to see that she wants this platform to be something that allows her to share her meals with her followers: “I do all local businesses, and I’m not going to tear down a local business. It’s not my place. I have no right to do that. I just tell people what I enjoy, but I do not work for Michelin. I am not a food critic.” After all, she’s just a girl from Moorestown with tastebuds, lucky enough to have access to the best food around.

Her quick rise to local stardom has given her a platform to share her passion for food with the local community. Earlier this summer, she even shared her top four favorite review videos on Fox29’s MIKE with Mike Jerrick, which include Ammon’s Mediterranean Market; Ash and Oak in Williamstown; The Bite in Vineland; and Li Beirut in Collingswood.

However, her favorite videos have nothing to do with food, but with her roots. When asked what her favorite video has been, her answer had nothing to do with hummus or pizza or sandwiches. Her GRWM (get ready with me) “About Me” video that shares her background with the community. Originally over 45 minutes long, she cut it down to 10 and then to 2:59, which she says still exceeds the algorithms’ preferred length. Her second-favorite video is her DITL (day in the life) of a wrestler’s sister. Sharing herself with her community makes this whole experience more life-giving and authentic. Dom asserts, “I never try to be something I’m not.” Currently back to working a full time job, Dominique has balanced her pharmaceutical background with her love of food and family, truly making her platform a ‘pharm to table’ experience.

But what comes next? First is the launch of her branded swag that will be available this fall. Dom expressed her shock over people wanting items with her face on them. She also hopes to expand her brand beyond food videos to explore her other passions of health and wellness. As she continues to share great food with the community, one thing is clear: Her energy is contagious and worth the hype.
