St. Matt’s racks up the championships

The No. 2 St. Matthew 9/10 grade JV team defeated No. 1 Calvary team 54-41 in the Region 1 boys high school CYO championship to advance in the Archdiocesan City tournament.

The wins didn’t stop there. St. Matthew advanced to the championship game of the Archdiocesan tournament, where it knocked off St. Genevieve 58-55 to seal the AOP city title.
