The open house offered an opportunity to connect directly with local leaders, learn about voter services and explore community resources.

Elected officials in attendance were Commissioners Omar Sabir and Seth Bluestein, City Councilman Brian O’Neill, City Controller Christy Brady, state Sen. Joe Picozzi and state Reps. Sean Dougherty and Ed Neilson.

The offices of state Rep. Martina White and Register of Wills John Sabatina were on hand, along with representatives of Franklin Towne Charter School, Greater Bustleton Civic League and Northeast Victim Service.

The primary will be on May 20 and will include races for district attorney, controller and judge, along with ballot questions. Voters can request ballots from the satellite election office once they are printed, probably sometime in late March. ••
