To celebrate the Eagles and their participation in Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX, the AdvanSix Frankford facility, 2501 Margaret St., invited former Eagles offensive tackle Barrett Brooks to visit the company and meet with staff.
Brooks signed autographs, took photos and shared his experiences and insights from his time with the Eagles, in the NFL and as an on-air personality.
AdvanSix also hosted a plant luncheon provided by local Fran Lee Catering. There was also a raffle, where Brooks was able to select three winners’ names from an AdvanSix hardhat to each win a special prize.
The idea for the visit came from Frankford Plant Manager Bill Rodebaugh, a lifelong resident of the Northeast.
“For us here at AdvanSix, it all starts with supporting the plant and honoring the ways they are part of the city,” Rodebaugh said. “This was an exciting way for us to thank our team for all their hard work, especially with the recent cold weather, while capturing the enthusiasm of the Eagles’ Super Bowl appearance. Go Birds!”
Brooks began his NFL career with the Eagles in 1995 as part of their starting lineup. He now participates as an analyst on NBC Sports Philadelphia and hosts an entrepreneurship podcast, “Good Work with Barrett Brooks.” ••
