Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, hosted a special ceremony to announce the naming and dedication of the Elizabeth A. Fuller Education Center (formerly known as Founders Hall), which serves as an education space to conduct programs for the community.

Surrounded by her family, friends and the organization’s board of directors, CEO and staff, Liz Fuller was honored and recognized for her four decades of service.

Fuller volunteered and served on the Women’s Humane Society board of directors, serving 27 of those years as president of the board. During her presidency, she initiated the expansion of humane education programs and was a driving force behind the organization’s move to Bensalem, and the development of a new state-of-the-art facility for education programs, animal shelter, adoption center and veterinary hospital. She remains a strong believer in educating the public through humane education programs.

Women’s Animal Center continues to carry on her mission, embracing education as a positive and powerful tool for people of all ages, especially young people, to advance the welfare of animals and to strengthen the bonds of understanding, compassion and kindness between humans and our four-legged friends.
