The following robberies are believed to have been carried out by the same suspect on Saturday:
• At 9:09 a.m., the 15th District responded to a robbery at ShopRite at 5597 Tulip St. The offender approached the service desk, displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the register. He fled the scene in a gold/champagne Chrysler Town & Country minivan (unknown tag). He was black, wearing a gray North Face sweatshirt, Yankees cap, gray pants, sneakers and black-rimmed glasses.
• At 11:27 a.m., the 24th District responded to a robbery at the Dunkin’ at 5001 Rising Sun Ave. The offender displayed a black handgun in his waistband and demanded money. and left with about $800. He was black, around 40 years old, wearing a Yankees cap, black face mask, gray North Face hoodie, gray pants and gray sneakers.
• At 4:20 p.m., the 2nd District responded to a robbery at the Boston Market at 6350 Bustleton Ave. The offender entered the business, placed a food order and, as the cashier opened the register, announced a robbery, displaying a black firearm in his waistband. Taken was $500, and the offender fled in an unknown direction. He was black, wearing a Yankees cap, black surgical mask and black shirt.
The suspect is also being investigated for eight gunpoint commercial robberies from Sept. 21 through Oct. 24.
