McCormick was joined by Local 22 President Mike Bresnan and Secretary Jack Eltman as well as Tennessee Sen. Bill Hagerty.

“We would like to publicly acknowledge and express our unwavering support for Dave McCormick and his campaign for United States Senate,” Bresnan said. “This election was also the first time we ever met Sen. Casey in all his years in office … We are confident that David McCormick will show up when we need him … Dave McCormick will not only fight hard for Local 22 members and their families, but also for all firefighters and paramedics in Pennsylvania … Dave McCormick possesses all the qualities that will catapult us forward. A leader with great integrity [and] accountability, who is committed to rebuilding trust in the political system.”

“I’ve witnessed firsthand the drug crisis that is devastating our community,” Eltman said. “We have not received the resources necessary to combat this battle effectively … Dave McCormick is one of those reinforcements that we need. Someone who will bring the right leadership and solutions to turn this crisis around … Dave McCormick not only supports firefighters and paramedics, but also all union workers across Pennsylvania. He understands the challenges that we face and consistently stood up for working families. In researching Dave, I did my due diligence, I’ve seen the kind of leadership and solutions that can bring real change, not just to Kensington, but to the entire city of Philadelphia, the state of Pennsylvania and the United States as a whole.”

“Dave McCormick is going to work with me in the United States Senate to turn this around, to secure our border again, to stop this flow of fentanyl, to end this crime and lawlessness, and to bring America back, to bring our streets back to a place of safety and prosperity again,” Hagerty said.

“Bob Casey’s weak policies and his weak leadership have really upended public safety and left Pennsylvania’s first responders in the dust,” McCormick said. “He’s failed to take care of you as constituents, and really all the constituents across our commonwealth with real leadership to deal with the problems that are growing … The choice is really clear. Do you want change or do you want the status quo? … Do you want strength or do you want weakness? Do you want common-sense policies to get our country and our great commonwealth back on track? Or do you want to continue down the path of these extreme, liberal policies that are really hurting Pennsylvanians every day? That’s what this campaign is about.” ••
